Re: Veteranbil?
A veteran car is a car that´s 30 years old from the YEAR it was registratet for the first time in Norway. Tax is reduced from about 3000-3500 to 450 kr/year. Thats all you gain. If you import a veteran car, you only has to pay tax 25% of the price you can document that you paid for it + transport c...

Vinyl wrap
Is there a good place to get a roll of vinyl wrap material. I want some for my T4 in Norway. I've had a few bits wrapped in my UK T4 like the bonnet and grille. Any help much appreciated [emoji106]

Buying bits in Norway (T4)
Hei, I've gone and bought myself a T4 California over here now and i'm over the moon with it. Going from a 2.4 non-turbo to a TDI is a revelation! I'm after help on where to buy things for it over in Norway. Back home a lot of vans have "Bonnet Bra's" but i've been struggling to find them ...

Re: Moving to Norway, Importing my Syncro's?
Its been a while but i'm back. I sold the T3 in the end. I got my money back which was brilliant but it was a shame to see it go. I had a 400 mile road trip to drop it off which was a nice little send off. Since then I've had a baby in Bodø and I've got a bigger baby in the form of a California :) h...

Re: New To Norway and Transporter
Hei Hei, I've just moved over to Norway too. We're up in Beiarn and we've just had our first baby last month. You've got a niec van there. It must have hurt to know how much they would be back in Ireland. Saying that UK prices are that much inflated, it probably doesn't hurt as much. I think the rul...

Re: Moving to Norway, Importing my Syncro's?
Thanks for the info. I'm still probably going to sell it over here and hope to find something else in Norway one day. I've got a baby to think about first [emoji3] I've been converting my T4 over the last year in the UK. I've just read someone's post about the Norwegian testing and how hard it can b...

Re: Moving to Norway, Importing my Syncro's?
Welcome Matt! Id be more concerned of how Biltilsynet (our DMV) will react to your extra sylinder in the back there. I don't know how the actual process of registering a foreign veteran car goes down, but for newer cars it is required that once VAT is paid, BT goes over the vehicle before registrat...

Re: Moving to Norway, Importing my Syncro's?
Fantastic :D Cheers for the information. I'll have another little think now to see if its worth bringing it over. My partners parents already have a Syncro sat in the yard with no engine. I was hoping they would let me play with it but he like to hoard cars. I bought this one last year with a view t...
