Nice to hear that there are so many vans going to Mammutpark for the Syncro25 meet. There are just 3 vans heading over from Ireland and we will be there on the Thursday before the event ....

The coldest I have ever seen in Ireland was -4 and -10 wind chill. We only ever get snow every two years and that is only usually up in the mountains. Right now its 8 degrees and very windy!

Well he is out of Norway now and heading for the T3 Exhibition in Dieselstrasse 35, Wolfsburg.

As some of you know my son is travelling from Ireland to Nordkapp and then to Gibraltar. On his trip he has sent me some of the most beautiful photos of Norway and the fabulous scenery. He has arrived ... tomorrow he heads down the west coast of Norway. He hasn't seen much snow yet.

The Arctic Circle has been crossed. He drove to Rovaniemi in Finland and promptly got pulled by the Finnish police and customs. They had never seen an Irish car cross at the border crossing before and wanted to know what he was doing? He told them he was out for a drive!! He has a section on Faceboo...

He got ContiWinterContac TS 830 P and was charged 6000sek. He says they are amazing when things get cold and snowey.

Just arrived in Sundsvall and heading to Lulea in the morning. Saturday will be the big drive up to Hammerfest/Nordkapp with -7 degrees and heavy snow forecast !!
