Hello Norway;

I want to visit Norway (the southern touristic part) in the summer of 2014
and if possible i want also visit an VWvan meeting.
Normally i took teh meetings from http://www.vwbusland.de /termine but the scandinavian meetings normally arent mentioned there'....

This is a good overview of the various meetings in Norway.

For my part, i can tell you that Bussfest 2014 will be in Norway this year, 18-20. of July in Telemark. I will post a thread with more detailed info as soon as we settle the final bits and pieces.

There might also be a meeting in Drammen, just before Bussfest.

I allready have the file on file, ready as we speak. All it need is some updates regarding dates and/or locations, and it is finished enough for publishing

I recogn I shall post it before X-mas some time, to let people in their own time start planning their vacations and trips around Europe - sadly some hosts do not want new visitors and are so slow to update info that one could think the whole show has been cancelled.

I do my job, the rest is up to the hosts

Why not just as, if not yet more, "touristic" northern part?

'Eskimo's ' may be drawing it out a bit too much yea... Its 'Samisk' folk up there, the Eskimos nearest relatives, that farm reindeer all over the place.

No, I think they (the Sami people) are closest related to the Kvens and second closest to the Finns.

Only God knows who they are related too...They share some of the Bulgarian Language too.

Yeah, I have always believed that it was the Northern part of Norway that was the touristic part The southern part is only the boring stretch you need to cross to get to the scenic northern Norway
