No probs, I would like to think that someone would do the same for me if the need ever arose.

VW Karma.

:)

Hope it works out for you.

Pop by the stall when you get there.

What do you guys drink? is there a perticularly Norweigen drink?

I would love to know where the username "FannyPower" comes from lol, that's really, really funny and I hope you have it in big pink letters on your van!
:)

The official explanation is quite simple! My middle name is Frances, hence the 'Fanny' bit. Andrew has approx 25% Irish blood in him & once bought our daughters a book of Irish Folk tunes to play on their fiddles. One of the pieces is called 'Fanny Power' and was written for a real Irish woman of that name who lived a long time ago. It's a great name & a fine piece:

I did order the name in large, bright orange letters to put on the poptop of my aircooled Westy but never got round to sticking them on. The geezer I ordered them from in England nearly choked on his false teeth & then made them too big.
I've stuck a large laminated copy of the music to the window side of the wardrobe in my van. That's to show the name is respectable! 8)
That was the official version........

lol!

:)

All set?
I'm sat here trying to get the design good for the T3 syncro side stripes done and to the print shop before Vanfest!
Business card design back, ready for printing Monday.
Flags should be ready this week, best be anyway!!
Price list to sort, vans to pack, shopping to do..
Going to be a busy week!

Good luck with all that, Simon, we'll be visiting your stall for sure, hope you've got lots of goodies. Regarding Norwegian (note spelling :) drinks there's not a lot of difference between the two countries. Duty free means masses of Carlsberg and the odd winebox, gin for me :D , Bailey's for Fanny Power and Danials 'Jungle Juice' which is a strong concoction of orange juice and vodka designed to get people totally shitfaced quickly without realising it

All set to leave at dawn's crack Wednesday! The weather men are threatening us with this year's first Autumn storm tomorrow. Hope it's history by Wednesday! We should arrive at Vanfest before dark on Thursday with 5 vans, 3 tents & 9 pilgrims. We pick up Patrick & Torkel from the bus station/stop in Great Malvern Friday afternoon. Can't wait!!! Want to leave now!!

Any of you guys back yet?
Hope you all get home safe, but I think your journey may have been shorter than mine!!
We left at 1830 in the evening, we didn't get home til 0220!
This is usually a 2.5 hour journey!!
They closed the motorway after a 5 car crash, and we just sat, and sat, and sat....
The the traffic moved, then the motorway was down to one lane for roadworks, so this 30 mile tailback now had to try to get through one lane of motorway!
Deep joy!!

Nice to meet Andrew and "FannyPower" as well as Patrick and the tall guy who talked to us for a good long time whos name escapes me!
Hope you all got lifts home okay for those that were flying.
So, Andrew, when are we finalising this van swap? you have told them all that we are swapping vans aren't you....
:P

Simon Simon, if only you had read the post above you would have realised that his name was Torkel and you could have saved a little face!

Hello Simon! If you find 'Treff/ Møter' & go to Vanfest 11-13 sept, side 2, you can see the photos of Vanfest that Philip & I have posted.
They start with the ferry in Esbjerg & finish up with Superspeed in Hirtshals.
We all had a great time & everyone got back safely. Looking forward to next year already!!
