There's a group coming from Kristiansand/Oslo via Denmark, hoping to put the Atlantic Syncro in the display area!

If it's anything like last year, I may not get chance to talk, it was very, very busy!
It will be interesting to see if this years takings are anything like last years, this "Credit Crunch" thing had just started then but we made more sales that we ever had done last year, it was mental!

Seriously, come across and see us, if I am busy I will try to find you once the trading has finished.

I'm going to open up pre-orders soon on the webshop, if anyone wants to reserve any parts for collection rather than paying redicularse amounts of money for our rip off postal service I'm happy to do that.

Who is coming then? how many? would be interesting to put some faces to names, Tage? Odd?

Simon, will you have, or be able to get hold of, a catalyser for the exhaust of an MV motor? What sort of price? Was thinking of getting a Bosal one from the USA at 115 dollars but can wait until vanfest if you can provide..........

Andrew & I are bringing our 2 sons, Patrick & Philip (both T3 drivers), with us. Patrick had hoped to drive our syncro ambulance over but has to fly as he's only been given 4 days off work  He'll be asking for a lift on the Brickyard from & to Heathrow shortly!.
'Onkel reisende Mac' & wife, Trond & Liv Randi are travelling with us in their yellow syncro camper, Danish Danial from Kristiansand is in the convoy with his hightop syncro camper, Steffen & we hope Marco are joining us with 2 fine vans. :D We hope some others will be able to tag along with us as Dave White has 10 places reserved for VW Bus Norway in the 'international village' at Vanfest. We should originally have been at least another 4 vans but work, studies & cost have prevented them from coming. We're taking the ferry from Esbjerg to Harwich on Wednesday 9th September & get to Vanfest early Thursday evening.

(This will probably be transferred from T3 to Treff/Møter!)

As you can imagine, I know feck all Norweigen!
That's why I put it here! No probs if it moves.
I know I send a bit of stuff to Norway, I recognise some names here!
I will look into the CAT situation, but we dont need them here, so very little call for them, not something I have had to price up before, and because we don't use that many then I should imagine that our prices aren't "Favourable"!
I will check though.

RE: lift from heathrow to Vanfest, what dates?
I will add the post, maybe I may be able to sway the outcome! ;)

Plenty of spare seats from here, but sadly the wrong end of the country!
Question has been asked on Brick-Yard, so, we'll see if there is any joy.

Thursday is packing the vans, Friday morning is when we are leaving, hopefully there for lunchtime on friday and set up the stall.

No luck with the cat I'm affraid, I can only see 2 manufacturers that make it, ernst and HJS, I don't deal with either company and they are well over 300 Euro each.

Part number is 025 131 701, 701 A or 701 AX (X just means exhange item)

I can't see Bosal listed, and that is a really good price, if you can get one at that I'm fairly sure that's unbeatable.

I also hear my friend Erwin (Bussig.se) from Sweden is not coming, such a shame, although Mike Plompen is.

Patrick, not had much responce on brick-yard, so I'm going to put a request on Club80-90.
I have also e-mailled Simon Holloway, the organiser of Vanfest to see if he has any ideas?!
It may not be a T3 but you may get there, just in a Bay or a Split right?!

Regarding the catalyser, I managed to remove it tonight, and lo! it was totally empty, no ceramics, gauzes, honeycombs or precious metals, just an empty canister. As I don't actually need it I'm going to put it back having bored out the sensor stump and having put a new one in. It must have been removed and 'emptied' when the engine had a new silencer fitted.

I'm organizing a music festival next weekend, making it impossible for me to attend. At least this year. Looking forward to meeting the people behind the nicks someday :D

Responce from organiser.
------------------------------
Most of the people we have flying into the event come into Birmingham which is a bit easier for arranging shuttles.

I will see if we have anyone coming via Heathrow. I take it he is still arriving Friday & needs to go back Monday (not very good timing for any of us involved with running the event.).

It might be worth him sussing out trains to Malvern that would be a lot easier to sort.

There is quite a few coming from Norway. We have a new "International Village " this year for a lot of our Eurovanfesters.
-----------------------------------------------------

I'll see if I can point you in the right direction for trains.

what if i get a train or bus to another location. I realize that heathrow is a place you don`t want to drive to if you can avoid it...

and going back monday would have to be very early since I have to be there at 08.20 am, maybe sunday night is a better deal?

Seriously...

You're not attending the Vanfest witout cars, are you ??

At best, that leave y'all as "visitors" and not attendees.

Maybe next year, if time allow it.
