hello

Cant find any of those name on yellow pages...:-( Send a mail to Moller Bil a.s, Trondheim, and ask for the history of the car.

Kjoretoygruppe : 301 Kombiinnert BIL means: the seat in the cargo area is specialy for Norway. It is a combi personal and cargo vehiecle. It was not so high VAT as on a person carrier. Hope you understand my english....

or:

Folstad, Ole Ivar
Rognervegen 14, 7021 TRONDHEIM
Tlf 72 55 76 62

Probably the same person, just moved.

And then there are these:

Mobil 92 64 45 14

Rennemo, Jonas Steen
Arne Solbergs Veg 41, 7092 TILLER

Arne Solbergs Veg 41, 7092 TILLER
Tlf 72 88 91 52

If you need help contacting them in norwegian, just give a shout, always glad to help.

I'm also restoring two caravelle coaches in excellent condition. You should find everything you need to know on this site, but language could be a problem. Let me know if you get into difficulty.
By the way, a lovely coloured example of the species. How many kilometers has it done?

Yours,
Andrew

@amubus, yes i understand fine..

@Bayjon, what headlights and grille...

@ Andrew, if you could ask about it would be a great help :) thank you very very much, wouldnt know where to start especially with the language barrier, The Bus now lives approx 100kms from Bordeuax in South Western France and carriers a total of 270,000 kms..

I'm currently sorting a new engine for her as its abit worn out but here that the DJ is quite rare and hard to get hold off...

but because of french laws the engine has to be the same, the search will continue..

i dont know about the sticker but now know that between 1989 and 1991 the Vehicle moved to Steinkjer and in 1994 the vehicle was service by Fossum Auto A/S, 7670 Sakshaug, although this i cant find on a map.. this is taken from the little service history i have for the Bus..

acoording to its service book it only ever had 5 services

First - 2/7/87 - Pre Delivery Service
Second - 2/8/88 - @31,400kms @ Moller Bil
Third - 24/10/89 - @59,519kms @ Moller Bil
Fourth - 12/4/91 - @98,000kms @ Moller Inn - Trondelag, Steinkjer
Fifth - 8/7/94 - @15,268kms @ Fossum Auto..

i really hope it was serviced abit more :D

It tends to get like that when people don`t put their cars at an original service garage. The other garages don`t seem to care as much about filling out the service book properly as the original places do.

OK, will try to phone some of these people tomorrow to find out. I imagine you are most interested in finding out which parts may have been renewed? By the way, where do you come from? France? England?

Just remembered, there's a guy in this forum with 2 DJ's for sale at kr.2999, and I know of another here in Kristiansand with one for sale at kr.6000 - presumably overhauled. Do you actually need another engine or would it be worth overhauling the one you've got? All the parts readily available from your neighbouring Germany, if not in France...

@amubus if my bus is it it i would be very grateful :D

@andrew, i'm originally from the UK but now live in france :), i've owned over 60 Volkswagens including, 50+ Mk2 Scirocco's, 3x Mk1 Scirocco, 5x Mk1 Golf, 6x Mk2 Polo, 2x T25, 4 Mk2 Golfs and run 3 volkswagen websites, dedicated to the marquee, would not own anything else ;) i keep looking on german ebay to see if any pop up for sale :), it would be nice to see if they have pictures or can tell me abit about the bus when it was newer, its not pften you get norweigian models here, well not the vw type :P

sadly yes i do need a engine, its leaking oil from every hole possible and is mixing oil badly, the pistons have also smashed 2 of the spark plugs. :(

there really isnt much available in france for the T25..
Germany on the other hand well is the motherland but i'm still a fair way away we breed dogs so have 11 dogs to look after so makes going away for the whole day a hard task..

guess he girlfriend will be staying at home then

Have sent you some scans on e-mail so you can see how the brochure look like. If you want me to copy it for you, give me a hint...

OK, shame about the engine. Still, if the body is really good it's well worth spending the cash on an engine. Hope the gearbox is OK......
Did you drive your bus all the way from Norway when you got hold of it?

Posted: 06 Mar 2005, 23:56
by VWPowered
not sure if the gearbox is ok or not when i replace the engine i'll replace the clutch etc as a matter of cause..
no i got the bus from about 20kms away, it was brought afew years ago by australians who used the vehicle to tour europe, before coming to france, as far as i know it was just given to the woman i got it from as they returned to australia and she didnt use it as she has a citroen dyane, i got the bus in exchange for servicing the ladies car :)
its been sat for a year on someones garden, it is still very clean, just mechanical stuff thats letting the old girl down.

thank you so much amubus, i'm downloading it now, i'm 56k so proberley still be downloading it in the morning

First: Fossum Auto is located in Inderøy, phonenumber:+47 741 54200. A small local garage, does good work.
Second: Møller Inn-Trøndelag has changed name to Madsen Bil AS, Steinkjer, phonenumber +47 741 00030. Ask for Stig Rønning, at the desk of the garage. He will be helpful.

If you are looking for phonenumbers or companys in Norway, use the yellow pages at http://www.gulesider.no
