Hi Guys,
Is there a difference between the length of bolts and studs on a VW coach and a VW Caravelle 1987, 2.1 L ? (Standard bolts and Nuts)
A kind person was kind enough to donate me his coach rims. See the image. When I tried to fit them on my car the Bolts and Nuts seemed to be short.
They wouldn´t screw in more than a cm. I know I can buy longer bolts for the front wheel. What do I do with the rear wheels where the studs are shorter.
Are there special bolts and nuts available to resolve this problem?

Will I have to change the studs at the rear or perhaps nuts are available that would secure the coach rims safely on the original studs.

Thank you Guys for the tips. The tires are now mounted on the car. I got hold of bolts at Biltema, a set of 10 for Kr.139 and nuts at Dekkmann, a set of 10 for Kr.280. A total of Kr.419. Not bad. All well. :D

No way I am throwing my old nuts and bolts. You should have tried at Mekonomen.
I think they have the nuts for steel wheels at NOK 30 each.
