Just popped in to say Hello.
Not had much time for forums lately, just thought I would drop by and see whats going on, not that I can read any of it mind!
Looking forward to the 25 years of syncro event, hope to see some of you there.
Hi.
I spoke with my brother about his, he wants to go!
It is a very, very long way!
In all seriousness, what sort of temps will we see at that time of year and what sort of speeds can we maintain on that E6?
Driving from Oslo to campsite takes how long?
I had those bushes commisioned, I sent all the samples and paid the set up costs for them. I run them on my Atlantic, I do not find them harsh at all, the van is comfortable and quiet, but it drives brilliantly. I think it's unfair to say that they are harsh, because they are not. Most derivatives a...
Any of you guys back yet? Hope you all get home safe, but I think your journey may have been shorter than mine!! We left at 1830 in the evening, we didn't get home til 0220! This is usually a 2.5 hour journey!! They closed the motorway after a 5 car crash, and we just sat, and sat, and sat.......
lol! :) All set? I'm sat here trying to get the design good for the T3 syncro side stripes done and to the print shop before Vanfest! Business card design back, ready for printing Monday. Flags should be ready this week, best be anyway!! Price list to sort, vans to pack, shopping to do.. Going to be...
The originals are made by Sachs/Boge I have a set on the shelf, you can compare them, the only difference being that the original parts numbers are embossed (stamped) and the aftermarket ones are stickers. Sachs/Boge are about £200 a set! bit of a difference for the same thing! I'm not really a fan ...
Theres a lot of "buzz" about this in the UK at the moment. I did a quick how to. Dunno if this is old news? You must be aware that there are 2 types of gear linkage set up. The earlier style is fitted on all 4 cylinder models and the 2.4D The later style (which was revised in 2000) was use...
I sell loads of it, decent kit. NOt as fancy as H&R but good never the less. Springs were modelled on standard -30mm springs, then made lower. 90% of my customers own campervans, so the -50mm was set up for them. -70mm is right at the edge of the camber adjustment, so as low as you can go sensib...
This truck was a brickwerks stop gap for when the Caddy was being repaired after an accident. It came along at the right money having just been retired from service as a potato farm truck. It was a little tired and needed a good dose of loving to bring it back up to being a reliable, useable truck. ...
The Green H&R's have a plastic sleeve over the ends to reduce noise, have you tried this? sliding some thin tubing over the coils to try to reduce the noise?
The fault you describe is quite normal for the "Bordeax Red" H&R springs due to their design. A normal T3 rear spring is made from Tapered wire and is called a "miniblock spring" The idea of the miniblock spring is that you get the characteristics of a longer spring in a shor...
I would love to know where the username "FannyPower" comes from lol, that's really, really funny and I hope you have it in big pink letters on your van!
