Tenkte jeg kunne tipse om at det finnes en reparasjonshåndbok for T4 som faktisk er bra og detaljert.
Jeg kjøpte den på www.bokkilden.no, og den kostet kr 251,- inkl frakt.
Boken heter: Volkswagen Transporter T4, Workshop Manual.
(Covering 2.0 & 2.5 litre petrol and 1.9 &2.4 litre diesel engines)

For those of you used to the range of 'Haynes' manuals, this will come as a bit of a disapointment. At the moment choice is limited so this manual is pretty much it if you intend to do your own work on this popular vehicle.
Most of this book seems to have been taken from the dealers workshop manual, referance is made to many specialist tools and you are expected to have a good understanding of repair procedures. Unfortunatley the authors do not apear to have tried any of the major procedures outlined in this manual. I found myself abandoning it and working through the procedures on my own.
Full of innacuracies, such as upside down illustrations and obvious typos, at best much of this book is un-helpful and at worst its down right misleading.
The comprehensive specifications are useful, but by the time you've got through the repair you have lost all confidence that the information contained in it is accurate.
If I hadn't got oily fingerprints all over it I'd have sent it back.

Jeg har både tysk og engelsk bok. Den tyske er nok best, men jeg er ikke god nok i tysk til å få fullt utbytte av den. Bruker den engelske for å supplere informasjonen i håp om å forstå det som står på tysk.
Boka er verdt pengene i det øyeblikket jeg oppdager et eller annet som sparer meg for et verkstedbesøk. Det tror jeg skjer før eller siden.
Men ingen av forfatterene har fått med seg at det finnes syncroutgaver. noen som kan anbefale meg litteratur som dekker dette? (Har en 95mod.)
